Member Benefits

The benefits to become PATA Indonesia Chapter (PIC) are:

1. Networking

Being a member of PIC will automatically bring members into contact with the leaders of the tourism industry and give them a voice to government and policy making as well as enhancing networking with the private sector.

PIC will host monthly gatherings of members to enable industry networking.

2. Education

PIC will organise regular seminars and workshops to bring members (and others) up to date with leading industry practices.

3. Media Center

PIC will organize a professional media centre which can be used by the industry to liaise with local and international media.

The Media Center will build up information on Indonesian tourism from its members and create positive news on Indonesia as a destination.

4. Promotion

PIC will use its influence to create positive change for the tourism industry through its Executive Board and the strength of its broadly – based members. It’s primary aim is to promote professionalism in the industry and align public & private sector initiatives under the brand “First Class All the Way”.

The objectives of the promotion are to achieve 20 million visitors by the year 2020.

5. Newsletter and Publication

PIC will create a monthly industry newsletter to go to all members networks i.e. industry and media throughout the world.

In addition an annual publication “This is Indonesia” which was successful for many years,  will be revived.

6. The Travel Industry Awards

PIC will revive the Annual Travel Industry Awards for Indonesia and host an annual awards dinner to celebrate the awards success.
