Relaunch of PATA Indonesia Chapter

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Indonesia Chapter which has been established more than 31 years was re-launched on July 20, 2011 at the President Lounge, Menara Batavia, Jakarta. The event marked PATA Indonesia Chapter’s (PIC) comeback as an association which acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of Indonesia travel and tourism industry.

S.D. Darmono as the new chairman of PIC together with new executive board members aim to support the Indonesia government with the project “2020 Vision”, which objective to bring 20 million international tourists to Indonesia by the year 2020.

PIC invites all the key players in the industry to work together in order to achieve the target and improve Indonesia tourism. The association is opened its new membership registration for individuals or institutions that have vision, dedication, idealism, spirit and commitment to develop the country’s tourism together. PIC offers business networking and valuable access to PATA events in international market.
